I think that overall the weber writes essays were really good, there were some i didn't agree with because the authors personal tone came out a bit too superior and that made me almost immediately want to pick their argument apart. What are some things that you do when reading papers that you hope people don't do while reading yours?
Just breeze through the papers. I hope people actually analyze my papers when they read them instead of just blazing through them. That way when they peer review I can have more feedback and be able to write a better paper.
The Weber writes essays were very good essays. They really open up my eyes to a many different topics. They also let me see what a good essay could like and helped me to plan out my essay. Some of them were not very argumentative but they were still very helpful and interesting.
Weber writes was excellent. My favorite article was the star wars one. Just watched episode one.... Realized just how ridiculous it is. Also, In a fight, who would win? Yoda, Or credible Hulk?
I enjoyed most of the weber writes essays. They had a wide variety of topics that I wasn't already fimilar with so it also opened my eyes to many different topics.

ReplyDeleteI did not enjoy reading weber writes, why? because i usually forgot to and would have to champion read them before class. lesson learned? maybe.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that one Hugo. There were a few I found interesting though. As a Star Wars fan myself, I enjoyed reading the one on Star Wars.
